I went into Content last week for some bits for my kit and came out with rather a lot.. my kit needed it though so it was justified. I did have a list and mainly stuck to it – you’ve got to be disciplined in that shop as there are far too many lovely things!! I hadn’t planned to buy anything from (M)anasi 7 (not because they’re not beautiful products – far from it) but three items managed to sneak into my stash. Cream blushers were on my list, so technically I was keeping to the plan when I bought two of the (M)anasi 7 All Over Colour pots. I had tried these on my arm on a previous visit to Content and I loved the colours. I also loved the longevity – they took a bit of effort to remove, some leaving a stain, which is great in terms of staying power. I’ll be honest it was the price that had put me off before – £39 for a colour pot is a lot of money.
My visit last week was on a ridiculously hot day and everything was starting to melt – we all know what happens to coconut oil in the heat!! The (M)anasi 7 Colour Pots however felt that little bit more stable, and as I was buying for a job the next week with as much heat predicted, I thought they would be great for it. I bought Etruscan which is a very fresh pink and Sanguinello which is a fresh orange. The textures are creamy and blend very well into the skin, giving it a lovely dewy finish. They smell very nice too, which is always a good bonus!
They are expensive but they really are beautiful products. I’ve been using them on myself and I love them. I think if you spend the money on something like this, it needs to be something that you will use most days to really get your money’s worth.

They do contain 0.1% of synthetic colour (not every colour pot does).
I also bought a Strobelighter (don’t you just love the name!) in Sunrise. A new highlighter wasn’t on my list but I just loved the way this effortlessly glided and blended into the skin. It became seamless almost instantly. Sunrise is a soft peachy pink with a slight sparkle, but in a good flattering way; it’s not as shiny as some highlighters can be. This isn’t cheap either at £42 but it is a gorgeous product.
