Cream blush is for sure one of my hero products, I’m always recommending them! I love them all year round, they’re great in winter when skin may be a little parched, but also then in spring for the perfect fresh flush. The Ere Perez Carrot Colour Pot is always at the top of my list. I’ve mentioned them on here, but thought would be nice to dedicate a post to them. I recommended them to a friend recently, and she is loving hers!
I really like Ere Perez as a range in general, the formulations are great, they wear well and the colours available are lovely. The price point is nice too; the cream blushers are £29 – not cheap I know, but also not mega expensive as some natural brands can be. There is also a lot in the pot, so they last a long time.
2023 Update –
There are seven cream blush colours to choose from. Healthy and Harmony are probably the two I use the most but quite keen to get some more in the kit!
I really like a cream blush because they add instant colour and a dewiness to the skin. The power of a good blusher is amazing, it can really lift any complexion. You don’t need a full face of make-up to wear them either – you can apply straight over moisturiser if you want a simple quick look – the general rule is to apply all creamy products before powder products. Of course rules are made to be broken, sometimes a dab of something creamy over a powdered finish can brighten it up, but it will be harder to blend..
A cream texture is brilliant for adding radiance to a drier skin, however if you are more of oily skin type, then you can dust a little setting powder over them to help with longevity. Sometimes I’ll layer a powder blusher over that, this helps with longevity but you still get the natural freshness from the cream blush underneath. This technique is great for brides and long days.
I’ve got a blusher 101 post here that you might find helpful.
I love to use my fingers to apply up along the cheekbones.. I’ve got a video of me applying some on my IGTV if you fancy having a watch!! I can’t work out to post it on here… or this little quick one below!

Packaging – the blusher’s come in little glass pots with plastic lids – these have a mirrored finish which is nice for make-up bags. When finished, pop into relevant recycling. The outer packaging is card.
Have you tried these yet? What’s your favourite cream blush?
