hello and Welcome to my site
My name is Lou and I'm really pleased to have you here. I've been working as a make-up artist for the last twenty years and have specialised in green beauty for the last fifteen. I'm also a holistic facialist and love looking after skin.
I’m here to help you get your glow back and create a greener routine.
I’ve gained so much knowledge and insight from the industry over the last fifteen years, and I want to share it with you.
Green beauty can be confusing at the best of times; I’d love to use my journey to help guide you on your journey into green beauty. My aim is to provide you with lots of positive information and encourage you to do your own research; I think it is important to all have our own personal values.
I also want you to enjoy the journey, I’ve seen many people get stressed when trying to switch their beauty routines to a greener one. Make-up and beauty are fun. We have enough stress in our lives, choosing a lipstick or moisturiser should be reducing it not adding to it. I think as long as we’re all trying our best and aware about the products we are using, we’re getting there.
I'm here to support you in becoming the expert of your own skin.
I have a small studio in Bromley/South East London where I offer skin treatments and makeup lessons. We can also chat online.
Get in touch, I'd love to hear from you!

A little more about my background -
I started my career in make-up 20 years ago training initially in special effects at the London College of Fashion. On realising I preferred making people look quite nice (as opposed to decapitated), I changed my attentions to fashion, beauty and music. Since then I’ve worked in all aspects of make-up artistry from moving image to stills. I’ve worked for publications such as British Vogue, Nylon, Stylist and Grazia, and with celebrities such as Tinie Tempah and Birdy.
I grew up with an interest in natural health, so experimenting with natural beauty products in my professional kit was the next step. As I discovered their potential however, I also found a darker side to the conventional beauty industry. Surrounded by make-up every day, I started to question what I was using. From unsavoury ingredients to a careless environmental impact, I realised that these were key elements of many of the products I had in my kit. Over a decade ago I made a conscious decision to try and make my kit as green, clean and ethical as it could be. It wasn’t easy back then, however it was the start of an amazing journey.
Almost 15 years on, health and environmental factors still drive my passion. My kit is getting greener but still work in progress. I have strong criteria of what is allowed in. Organic and natural ingredients are key for me, along with respect for all those along the supply chain, animals, sustainability and transparency. For me, creating a green beauty kit is about caring for the environment and everyone and thing in it. I want the products in my kit to do good as well as make people feel and look good.
Over the years I have worked with green beauty brands such as RMS Beauty, Weleda, BYBI, Alima Pure, Beauty Kitchen and Content Beauty. I’ve spoken on many beauty panels and have given talks and masterclasses on green beauty, working with organisations such as the Soil Association. I’ve also taught at a make-up academy for the last twelve years.
I have a huge interest in skin too. Great skincare is an essential base to any make-up. For the last five years I've been training in various facial treatments and skin health, and I continue to study. I'm very much enjoying bringing this into my offering. I have a small treatment room in Bromley/South East London where I have regular facial days.
