I love these Hiro Liquid Lip Paints. The pigment is so rich and bold giving you a great block of colour for a statement look. You can also wear them as a stain if you want a softer look. The finish is matt with no shimmer which is great, they remind me of something you would get from MAC – cool modern colours and textures but these ones come with the ethics and great ingredients 🙂 I’ve been wearing Render to brighten my complexion and I love it, sometimes red feels too ‘done’ for me and a pink can feel a bit fresher..
The longevity is great and they don’t dry your lips like some matt formulations can – hydrate well before application and do a gentle scrub if needed though to keep lips looking smooth.
Don’t just limit these to your lips though, they are great multi-taskers – try on your cheeks – just a bit though as a little goes a long way!! Even on your eyes too – brilliant product for a make-up artist kit! 🙂
Packaging – The paints come in tubes with a wand for easy application. The final packaging is still to be decided but the tubes will either be made from recycled plastic or plastic made from sugarcane; this is just like regular plastic however the process of making is much better – it should be recycled in the normal way. Hiro Cosmetics are in the process of changing all of their packaging – almost of all them will soon be available in refillable pallets which is amazing. Until the new packaging arrives the lip paints are only available at Amazingy.com
Ingredients – Olive Butter (Olea Europaea), Camellia Oil (Camellia Oleifera), Mica, Candellia Wax (Euphorbia Cerifera), Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii), Vitamin E (Tocopherol). May contain: Iron Oxide (CI77491, CI77492, CI77499)
I’ve got some other products from this great range in the testing drawer at the moment… Have you tried anything from Hiro Cosmetics?
