This is a beautiful facial tailored to suit you. Whether it’s for relaxation, prep for an important event or tackling a skin concern we’ll customise the treatment for what you and your skin need on the day. It is the perfect mix of function and relaxation.
What is a Bespoke Facial?
My bespoke facials are a brilliant place to start your skin journey with me. They are tailored to what you and your skin need on that day. It is a non-invasive holistic facial taking into account the individual as a whole. Whereas some facial treatments will focus on ‘fixing’ a skin concern with only a product for example, during a holistic facial we’ll delve deeper to help find the root cause and then support the skin in a number of ways.
I’ll send an online questionnaire beforehand so I can start to get an idea of your skin but we’ll also have a quick check in on the day to see how you and your skin are doing. I’ll then tailor the facial to whatever you and your skin need. If you are having some skin concerns then I recommend the Simply Skin consultation on your first visit as this gives us a longer time to chat without going into your treatment time.

What happens during the facial?
Using some of my favourite green and conscious skincare brands, I’ll cleanse, exfoliate (if needed) and apply a mask (or two!) along with lots of massage. We can focus on relaxing, calming, lifting – whatever you need/would like that day. We’ll release stress and tension in the muscles and surrounding tissues to boost circulation and encourage healthy lymphatic flow.
De-stressing and relaxing are a really key part of your skin care. Releasing tense muscles will help to soften the face and enliven the complexion. I also massage your chest, shoulders, neck and scalp, not only does this feel incredibly good, it will help you release and relax further and is essential work for radiant skin. By calming inflammation, we help to create happier, brighter skin.
My hands are my main tools, but I sometimes use beauty tools such as Gua sha and crystal mushrooms. You’ll glow home!
Please don’t be worried about falling asleep or snoring – these are actually great signs that your body is relaxing and your nervous system is calming. Therapists welcome these nosies as well as belly rumbles – this is another sign that your body feels safe to go into rest and digest mode 🙂
What are the benefits of a Bespoke Facial?
If you have any skin concerns then having a bespoke facial can be a great way to get a professional to look at your skin and give any relevant advice. (Please note I am not a doctor so therefore cannot diagnose specific skin conditions).
A regular holistic bespoke facial can really boost your skin and help keep it clear and glowing. Stress and tension in the muscles and fascia (the surrounding tissues) can restrict the flow of blood and lymph, which can cause a myriad of concerns. Massage will boost circulation bringing more nutrients to help rejuvenate skin, whilst also improving lymphatic flow. Puffiness can be reduced, features become more defined and skin more luminous.
Facials are not only beneficial for your skin but for your general wellbeing. Regularly taking the time out for some relaxation and self-care is important on so many levels. A holistic facial can aid sleep and promote a calmer state of mind by helping you activate your parasympathetic nervous system and come out of fight or flight stress mode. This is turn can lead to calmer skin.
How often should I have one?
It depends what your goals are. A one of treatment can be wonderful as a relaxing treat and you will reap many benefits from it. It can be a reset for the nervous system and particularly helpful during stressful periods of time.
However taking the time regularly is where the real magic happens.
If you have any skin concerns, making a facial part of your regular routine is when you will see and feel the real benefits. One facial can be amazing but is not a quick fix. Having regular facials can really help improve the overall health and appearance of your skin. I can give you guidance to continue the good work at home, which is a key part of your facial routine.
I believe with any routine the best thing is consistency but also it has to be sustainable. Coming for a facial every 4-6 weeks would be ideal, but it needs to fit with your schedule and your lifestyle. So whatever you can do, is great.
Who is it suitable for?
The bespoke facial is suitable for all skin types. It is suitable during pregnancy however currently my bed does not tilt up so anyone in later stage pregnancy may find lying flat for a long time uncomfortable. Anyone having cancer treatment please message me before booking.
Where do you do the facials?
I offer my Bespoke Facial at my home studio in Bromley SE London/Kent BR1. (If you can’t get to South London I do work at re:lax in Borough a few times a week and a couple of times a month at big. in Victoria Park)
