Peach Fuzz

Peach Fuzz – how to bring the colour of 2024 into your beauty routine!

Each year PANTONE release a colour of the year and for 2024 the colour is Peach Fuzz.

“PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz is a velvety gentle peach whose all-embracing spirit enriches heart, mind, and body.”

This soft colour sits somewhere between pink and orange, and from a beauty point of view is really lovely to play with. Here are some of my favourite ways to bring it into your beauty routine.

Peach Fuzz as a blusher or eyeshadow..

So I know these aren’t natural but I like what the Body Shop have been doing recently in terms of values – read their sustainability report here. I’ve bought a few bits from their makeup to try and really like these tubes of colour – use them wherever you like – eyes, cheeks, lips. You can mix them as well to create your own custom colours. These two colours fit into the Peach Fuzz vibe so well – the first is called Born and the second Fair. I love to use them as a blusher to freshen the complexion but these would also be beautiful as an eyeshadow.

This Rosy Peach blush by Lavera is also lovely – try it as an eyeshadow too!

Wear it on your lips..

When I was doing lots of makeup consultations at Content Beauty, this lip balm by Mara was an absolute winner on so many people. It has just the right amount of peach/coral to brighten the complexion without being ‘a colour’ as such – the image below looks quite vibrant but on the lips this softens. If you want more colour, I’m liking the Tropic lipsticks and their Juicy Apricot fits with the Peach Fuzz pantone.

Use it as a brightening tool..

If you’re not sold on peach as an eyeshadow, it can still be an important part of your beauty tool kit. Peach is incredibly good at brightening dark circles – try using it on its own or under your regular concealer. It is also great at brightening pigmentation. If you have a deeper skin tone, then an orange may be a better choice for you – The Body Shop have a great orange in their Multi-tasking colour tubes (as mentioned above)

Wear it on your nails..

An easy way to bring any colour into your routine is wearing it on your nails. I was recently introduced to this fun brand Palette London and they have a neon peach called Papaya Passion. I found that the colour stayed reasonably well but did need the top coat. They dry so quickly which makes layering super easy and fast.

Adorn your bathroom shelf!

Another way to bring this comforting colour into your beauty routine is to have it sitting on your shelf! By Sarah London have recently rebranded and their brilliant facial oil has the perfect Peach Fuzz lid and pump.
