Benecos Eyeshadow Palette

I love this Benecos eyeshadow palette in Coffee and Cream; it’s been my personal go-to eyeshadow for such a long time, (a certain little helper likes it too..) and I’m always recommending it. I first wrote this post a couple of years ago but giving it an update with some videos too.

I love that this Benecos eyeshadow palette is so versatile – the four colours give you lots of scope for different looks, and all very wearable. The palette is universal too, and would suit lots of skin tones. I also love that it is £6.95 which is an absolute steal for what you get. Also goes to show natural beauty doesn’t always have to be expensive.

The longevity is great; it lasts a long time on my eyes without creasing. I do find I get a better effect if I use a brush and build up my layers, rather than quickly applying with my fingers – this application definitely gives less wearing time. A dusting of setting powder first onto the eyelids also helps.

There is so much you can do with this quad.. so many combinations.. use the lightest colour all over and then the mid two in the socket line with the darkest shade as a liner. The deep gold all over with the dark in the socket makes a lovely soft smokey eye. Try using a wet brush with the colours for a different effect as well. Here a couple of videos from my Instagram –

In terms of ingredients, they are not bad – yes they’ve got talc, but I’m not so concerned in pressed eyeshadows.. Organic macadamia and sunflower oils help to nourish lids, and I’ve certainly not noticed any dryness after using. The shadows are BDIH certified natural and they are vegan too.

Ingredients – talc, mica, caprylic/capric triglyceride, macadamia ternifolia seed oil*, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil*, magnesium stearate, kaolin, glyceryl caprylate, p-anisic acid, tocopherol, helianthus annuus seed oil [+/- (may contain) ci 77499 (iron oxides), ci 77491 (iron oxides), ci 77492 (iron oxides), ci 77891 (titanium dioxide), ci 77742 (manganese violet), ci 77007 (ultramarines), tin oxide]
*certified organic

Packaging – this comes in a plastic compact but recycle through a Terracycle scheme.

There are two other colour versions of the Benecos Eyeshadow Palette. I’ve tried the Smokey Eye palette and it is nice.

Not as nice as the Coffee and Cream, but still great for a budget buy. I think maybe it is more shimmery which makes me like it less.. there is also a purple/pink quad that I still need to try properly. The Coffee and Cream quad is definitely the hero for me 🙂

I love the Benecos pencils as well – I’ve got a review here if you’d like to read!

Anyone else tried any of them?!

Let me know what you think of the videos too – would you like to see more?
