RMS Wild With Desire Lipstick

Looking back on the blog, I realise that I’ve not been doing that many make-up reviews lately, so I’m going to try and catch up a bit!

That said, I’m actually finding it a but tricky at the moment with my kit – I want to keep up with the latest innovations – and keep you updated too, but I’m also trying to be very mindful of my kit. Natural and organic beauty does go off a lot quicker. This is great for our skin in terms of fresh, skin nourishing/active ingredients and no cheap fillers or questionable harsh preservatives etc (of course we need some preservatives). However it isn’t great when trying to keep an extensive kit. I’ve found that I’ve had to throw things away which goes against the whole point of sustainable beauty, not to mention a waste of money. So you see my conundrum, I want to have all the new fresh green beauty and showcase it to you, but I also want to be conscious in my buying and trying said new beauty…

I have however got lots of favourites doing well in the kit, that I can certainly be sharing more with you though. Starting with these glorious RMS Wild with Desire lipstick. As you can see from the swatches, the colours are lovely and dense with lots of pigment. They are very creamy too so feel great on the lips – moisturise well beforehand anyway though. They’re not glossy but not matt either – more of a satin feel, some with a slight sheen. I feel like they have great longevity – I’ve put them on clients and they have lasted well.

I find they go on to the lips really smoothly – I always use a brush when making up other people but from the bullet would be great as well – I like the shape as it is flat rather than curved.

I have had to throw a couple 🙁 so don’t save them for best – I know this can sometimes be an idea when splurging on something – these are £30. When spending the money on something like this, wear it as much as you can! You’ll know if your lipstick has gone off – the texture changes and so does the smell.
