Pacifica Smolder Eye Lining Gel…

One of my favourite products at the moment is this Eye Lining Gel from Pacifica. I use it a lot as a cream shadow all over the lid for an instant soft smokey eye, or as a base for other powder shadows. I also just smudge it along and into the lashes to add intensity to the eyes. You can create a sharper line with it too, however I prefer to smudge it as I find it lasts longer.

It comes in three shades – from the top Tahitian Pearl – a pearlized green, Anchor – a bronzed brown and Midnight – a deep navy blue. Anchor is my go-to colour at the moment, it has a soft gold glitter through it which you can’t see so much in the photo. I use it as a base to create a gorgeous brown or gold smokey eye or just on its own for a softer look. I apply it with a brush and buff it into the lid, you can build the intensity and go darker – build it in fine layers rather than one thick layer as I find it can crease. I don’t mind it creasing a lot of the time though as I like that lived in look for a lot of things. Take it under the eyes too but again blend it in, so it stays where you want it; it is a creamy texture and application is really smooth, but don’t apply too much or it will move.

Here is an example of the Anchor on the gorgeous eyes of Rebecca Pearson, I used to create a very soft smokey eye.

Pacifica are a US based vegan, natural beauty brand. The make-up is mineral based and contains no phthalates, parabens, sulfates, propylene glycol, triclosan, mineral oil or benzene. The eye lining gel does contain phenoxyethanol. They are a very environmentally aware company with most product production done in their own factory in Portland, Oregon. They recycle where possible and use recyclable packaging, working with local suppliers.

Anyone else tried anything from their range?

I bought Anchor after reading this post and love it! I’m going to have to get the other two shades now!
